Life is an Adventure. Every element of the past is a stepping stone leading to the present time, encouraging us to learn the lessons we have each brought with us and preparing us to begin or continue the Real journey of discovering, observing and Being oneself.
This is a brief peek at my background as I continue to learn, grow and share, enjoying every adventure whether with people or animals …..
From a very young age veterinary nursing called… as did physiotherapy. However, the journey began with interests in herbs and nature's ways . Experiences of a different kind led to studying Healing, Micro-movement Healing and Kinesiology bringing awareness and understanding to the phenomena experienced.
Working with children became a large focus. Those with behaviour problems and ADHD as well as health problems, lost the symptoms after Allergy-Testing and dietary changes, bringing calm back to many homes.
Having run and practiced in Natural Health Centres, a partnership was formed, and a Holistic shop and Health Centre for Therapists was opened. Delving into the inner mysteries of Qabalah, studying and using the knowledge to train others in finding the esoteric meanings of life and their own fulfilment, in groups or one to one, continued. Inner work, of course, never ends and the clearing and observing continues. Every layer that is removed exposes what seems to look like another picture when in reality it is the same picture seen from a different angle.
After many years of a vegetarian diet the choice was made to 'go Vegan'. Hearing the truth about the tragic ways in which animals are used, abused and tortured throughout their very short lives made for an easy decision. The information had touched the deepest part and very soon, after that day, a Vegan began to emerge. A new adventure had begun bringing an unexpected feeling of Inner calm!
Adventures of another kind with 500 monkeys! Spending some months in South Africa enabled the introduction of Natural remedies and homeopathy to The Vervet Monkey Foundation who rehabilitate and provide sanctuary to rescued primates and any animal that needs help. The primates have been orphaned, injured, abused, are ex-laboratory or unwanted pets and the babies in particular require full-time care and attention.
More recently a long-held dream came true when the opportunity arose to go to Kenya to help with a project using new homeopathic creations to help combat the problems of Malaria, HIV and other prevalent diseases. This method has seen huge improvements in school attendance and former bedridden patients given the ability to regain their strength enabling them to return to work the land.
Continuing to learn, grow and share sees the advent of an exciting new Adventure, yet to be told….
